MEDICAL CAMP TO THE TRIBAL COMMUNITY RESIDING AT GAVI AND MOOZHIYAR
We Pushpagiri College of Nursing initiated tribal healthcare activities associated with PHC Seethathode, and DMO Pathanamthita from 13-09-2022. As an initial step a medical camp was done for the tribal community of Gavi with the help of Dr. Vincent Xavier Seethathode PHC Medical Officer on 07/10/2022. The medical camp was organized by departments of Community Health, Nursing Education and Mental Health. The program was coordinated by IQAC cell, PCON. The members participated Prof.Vineetha Jacob Principal PCON, Sr. .Mayukha SIC, and Mrs. Alphonsa Lissy Mathew. The camp was conducted from 2.00pm to 8 pm providing Health Checkup, Medications, Vitamin supplements and Food at areas of Moozhiyar and Gavi.The camp was benefital to 50 tribal families and 25 members of Ceylon camp .
