NA state level arts and sports competitions
The Student Nurses’ Association, popularly known as SNA, is a nation-wide organization of nursing students. It was established in 1929 at the time of annual conference of the TNAI in Madras. The main purpose of forming the Association by TNAI was to provide vanities to the nursing students, facilitate their all round development and accredit them to join TNAI as qualified nurses.
Student Nurses Association of Pushpagiri College of Nursing is one of the best platform for the student nurses and it provide curricular and co-curricular activities, communicates issues and concerns relevant to nursing, encourages participation in community health related activities. SNA unit of Pushpagiri College of Nursing got established in the year 2002. SNA aids in the development of the whole person, his or her professional role and responsibility for health care of people in all walks of life. SNA works to provide opportunity for personal intellectual, professional and social growth of its members. The aim of SNA is to provide programs representative of fundamental and current professional interest concerns to nursing students. Membership in SNA aids in the development of the whole person including the professional role.
The college union was established in the year 2010.The college union comprises of following post-Chair-person, Vice-chairperson, University union counselor, Magazine editor, secretary for arts and sports. Students actively participated in all the activities including arts and sports.
