    NSS REPORT ON NEERU- CATCH THE RAIN WHEN IT FALLS WHERE IT FALLS

    The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed NEERU as part of  Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav- India @ 75 based on Independence day on 10/08/2021. The title of the campaign was NEERU which was  based on CATCH THE RAIN WHERE IT FALLS WHEN IT FALLS.  The campaign was conducted via zoom platform.The aim of the programme  is to made aware about the importance of water conservation and the significance of rain water harvesting in the present era. It also aimed to understand the role of youth in water conservation. The chief guest of the campaign was Ms. Renjini Devi, Vice principal, Pushpagiri College of Nursing. Then Ms.Asha Ashok gave a key message to the gathering about the importance of celebrating the event nation-wide. The volunteers as well as the programme officer were taken oath on water conservation which was lead by Ms.Renjini Devi. The campaign was a great inspiration to all NSS volunteers.
