NSS REPORT ON PREVENTION OF COVID 19 PANDEMIC DURING LOCKDOWN PERIOD
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing conducted various activities and awareness programmes in view of prevention of COVID19 pandemic. The detailed report is as follows:

The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing conducted campaigns to prevent COVID 19. The NSS volunteers distributed cloth masks and COVID awareness leaflets to nearby residents, auto drivers, guest workers, kudumbasree units, drivers associations, ward counsellors in the concerned areas where they are residing. Our volunteers actively participated in stitching masks which they distributed. The parents of the volunteers also helped the volunteers in this venture. It was great opportunities for the students to be a part of “break the chain” even in this lockdown period.
