    PUSHPA THALIR Project

    The PUSHPA THALIR Project is a service initiative in Pushpagiri College of Nursing, a training arm of Pushpagiri Medical College. The project is initiated by a group of motivated nursing professionals from Child Health Nursing and Mental Health Nursing.

     The programme aims at the holistic development of schoolchildren by making them aware of the importance of physical and mental health well-being, offering them counselling, and addressing behavioural issues through periodic assessment and health education.

    With great privilege, PUSHPATHALIR project was initiated in association with CMS High School Tholasserry on 31/01/2018. The College of Nursing team led by Dr. Renu. G. Principal, College of Nursing were welcomed by Mrs Mini Mariam Jacob, Headmistress, C.M.S High School.

     The students of third year B.Sc. Nursing welcomed the gathering on behalf of Pushpagiri College of Nursing. The students performed a skit on personal hygiene and made the session very interesting by teaching action song on personal hygiene. Both the groups enjoyed the show.

     The beneficiaries were 28 students from classes I to V of CMS High school.

    The year plan was discussed with the school authorities. 

    The program came to an end by 11.00am by assuring the students to meet next month.
