ALUMINARS 2K24 MAY
ALUMNARS 2k24, is an initiative of the Nursing Alumni of Pushpagiri under the able leadership of Prof. Mrs. Vineetha Jacob, Principal, Pushpagiri College of Nursing. It is a bi-monthly care & share webinar series organized by the Pushpagiri Nursing Alumni as a part of the celebrations related to completion of 60 years of training nurses at Pushpagiri.
The ALUMNARS aims to-
- Gather all alumni who passed out of Pushpagiri through various nursing courses- MPH, ANM, GNM, BSc(N) and MSc(N) over the past 60years for a scientific venture.
- Provide an opportunity for alumni to share their experience & expertise in various fields with each other and to the younger generation.
- Maintain a strong bond between the alumni and their alma mater.
The 3rd webinar of the series was scheduled on 30th of May 2024 at 8pm IST. Dr. Sr. Judy SIC MSc(N), MBA, PhD, Principal cum Professor, Father Muller College of Nursing & 30th batch GNM alumni of Pushpagiri School of Nursing gladly consented to be the speaker for the same. Ms. Tiji Mathew [2017 batch BSc(N) alumni of PCON] drafted the brochure for the event. Mrs. Alphonsa Lizzy Abraham & Mrs Ligy Thomas, Faculty members of PCON & Scientific committee member of ALUMNARS contacted the alumni to take up various roles for the event, prepared the schedule and looked after all arrangements & preparation of the promo video. Mr. Marvin & Mr. Sony, System administrators provided all the needed technical support. The prepared meet link with brochure was circulated to alumni & faculty through whatsapp groups.
Mrs. Rinu Sakkariya, Member, Alumni Association PCON [2021 batch MSc(N) alumni of PCON] welcomed the gathering. Dr. Sr. Judy SIC MSc(N), MBA, PhD spoke on the topic, “Clinical Integration – a vital imperative for modern health care.” The whole event was compered by Mrs. Vinu Elizabeth, MSc(N) 2021 batch alumni, PCON. Around 79 students and 08 staff/alumni from different parts of the world joined in the event. Following a short Q & A session, between the Speaker and delegates, Mrs. Jolly V. Mathew, 32nd batch GNM alumni of Pushpagiri School of Nursing proposed the vote of thanks and the event concluded by 9pm.
