NSS REPORT OF WEBINAR ON NO DOWRY AWARENESS CLASS
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed an awareness class on NO DOWRY on 15th October 2021. The Programme helped to achieve knowledge among young adults regarding importance of No Dowry in current scenario. This programme also helped to make aware about the women empowerment in the present society.The chief guest was Ms.Asha Ashok, NSS Programme Officer. The programme was conducted via Zoom Platform. There were around 25 vlounteers. The programme started with NSS song by volunteers. Ms.Christina, NSS Volunteer commenced the programme . Ms.Honey K.H, NSS volunteer discussed to the volunteers on the topic of Importance of NO DOWRY and Importance of Women Empowerment among Volunteers. Ms.Ahinovam, NSS volunteer discussed about the No Dowry Prohibition Act and the preventive measures to tackle the Dowry related issues to the volunteers . Ms.Asha Ashok, NSS Programme Officer had given the words of gratitude to the volunteers. The programme is very informative for the volunteers.
