NSS REPORT OF LOCKDOWN AVOCATION
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed Lockdown activities of NSS volunteers on 20th July 2021. In order to engage the hobbies and relieve the stress related to lockdown and pandemic situation. The NSS volunteers encouraged to engage in their hobbies or activities in order to make themselves happy in their daily life. Volunteers engaged the activities such as painting, drawing, craft work, dancing, singing, cooking, gardening, farming, photography, playing indoor games, rearing aquarium along with their busy schedule. The volunteers created a video in order to make aware of others that, engaging in leisure activities helped a lot to decrease the lockdown stress level and overuse of mobile phones or laptops. The video titled as “LOCKDOWN AVOCATION “. Around 53 volunteers participated in the event. This made a great entertainment to the volunteers. This helped them to get rid of sedentary life style and stress related to lockdown. This activity aimed to improve the concentration of students in their online classes and academics.
