World Aids Day
On 01st December 2020 Department of Medical and Surgical –Pushpagiri College of Nursing celebrated World AIDS Day which is an international day dedicated to upraise the awareness of AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. The third year B.sc Nursing students of Pushpagiri College of Nursing presented an AIDS awareness programme through a skit video based on the theme “Ending the HIV/AIDS Epidemic: Resilience and Impact”. The video highlighted the symptoms,diagnosis,prevention and management of AIDS along with handmade posters with meaningful quoting’s written on them.
By organizing such a programme students had an opportunity to take part in World AIDS Day and also this has served them to be a platform for exhibiting their inborn talents.
