    ALUMINARS 2K24. CLINICAL DETERIORATION OF PATIENTS-an assessment

    ALUMNARS 2k24, is an initiative of the Nursing Alumni of Pushpagiri under the able leadership of Prof. Mrs. Vineetha Jacob, Principal, Pushpagiri College of Nursing. It is a bi-monthly care & share webinar series organized by the Pushpagiri Nursing Alumni as a part of the celebrations
    related to completion of 60 years of training nurses at Pushpagiri.

    The ALUMNARS aims to-
    1. Gather all alumni who passed out of Pushpagiri through various nursing courses- MPH, ANM, GNM, BSc(N) and MSc(N) over the past 60years for a scientific venture.
    2. Provide an opportunity for alumni to share their experience & expertise in various fields with each other and to the younger generation.
    3. Maintain a strong bond between the alumni and their alma mater.

    The 4th webinar of the series was scheduled on 24th of July 2024 at 7pm IST. Mrs. Jolly V. Mathew RN, Registered Nurse at Wollongong Hospital and
    Clinical Facilitator/ Trainer, University of Wollongong, Australia & 32nd batch GNM alumni of Pushpagiri School of Nursing gladly consented to be
    the speaker for the same. Ms. Tiji Mathew [2017 batch BSc(N) alumni of PCON] drafted the brochure for the event. Mrs. Alphonsa Lizzy Abraham & Mrs Ligy Thomas, Faculty members of PCON & Scientific committee member of ALUMNARS contacted the alumni to take up various roles for the event, prepared the schedule and looked after allarrangements & preparation of the promo video. Mr. Marvin & Mr. Sony, System administrators provided
    all the needed technical support. The prepared meet link with brochure was circulated to alumni & faculty through whatsapp groups. Rev. Sr. Deepa OSS, Asst. Professor, PCON and Co-ordinator, Alumni Association PSON [32nd batch GNM alumni of PSON] welcomed the gathering. Mrs. Jolly V. Mathew RN spoke on the topic, “Clinical deterioration of patients-an assessment.” The whole event was compered by Ms. Jewel Sara John, BSc(N) 2019 batch alumni, PCON. Around 56 student/staff/alumni from different parts of the world joined in the event. Following a short Q & A session, between the Speaker and delegates, Ms. Maria A, BSc(N) 2019 batch alumni, PCON proposed the vote of thanks and the event concluded by 8pm.
