TRIBAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES March 24/3/23
Pushpagiri College of Nursing, Thiruvalla conducted monthly tribal healthcare activities associated with PHC Seethathode, and DMO Pathanamthitta on 24/3/2023 . A medical camp was conducted for the tribal community of Gavi and Moozhiyar with the help of Dr. Vincent Xavier Seethathode PHC Medical Officer . The medical camp was organized by departments of Community Health and Mental Health Nursing. The program was coordinated by IQAC cell, PCON. The members participated Prof.Vineetha Jacob Principal PCON, Sr. .Mayukha SIC , and Mr. Renji George John. The camp was provided Health Checkup and Medications for 70 members. It also provided food materials like rice, vegetables, pulses , cereals and other kitchen utilities to 38 families. Vitamin supplements and Food were supplied to under five children and adults of the tribal population by AJINORAH GLOBAL VENTURES sponsored 50 food kits for the poor in tribal community . A visit and medical observation was also given to the Ceylon camp located at MINAR , Gavi. The camp was benefited and well appreciated by tribal families and members of Ceylon camp . and Tribal people at ANATHODU . In this occasion we thank Mr. Robin from AJNORA’s group who accompanied us to the community activities. We also thank Mr. Sreekanth from AJNORAH’s group for his efforts in arranging the food supplements.
