WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATED
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed WOMEN’S DAY on 08/03/2023 at college Auditorium. The programme was conducted in collaboration with Obstetrical & Gynecological department as well as Taluk Legal Services Committee Thiruvalla & Mallappally. There was a total of 250 students participated in the programme. The officially started at 9.00 am with welcome speech of Prof. Renjini Devi.S(Vice Principal-Academics, Pushpagiri College of Nursing). Rev.Fr.Aby Vadakumthala Presided over the Function. The Chief Guest, Mrs.Arundhathi Dileep, First Class Magistrate Thiruvalla presented Inaugral Address and Officially inaugurated the function. Rev.Fr.Aby Vadakumthala hourned Prof.Vineetha Jacob(Principal, Pushpagiri College of Nursing). Two Volunteers, Ms.Dhiya Susan Zacharia and Ms.Sinta Jaimon presented their perspective of women’s day celebration. Mr..C.N.Premkumar,Advocate Thiruvalla discussed the points regarding the legal implications of women in present society as well as the legal aspects in current scenario. The faculty members, Mrs.Asha Ashok(NSS Programme Officer) were also present in the programme. Ms.Jewel Sara, NSS Volunteers had given the words of Gratitude. The programme was really informative as well as enthusiastic to the volunteers.
