TRIBAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES 30-12-2023
Pushpagiri College of Nursing, Thiruvalla conducted monthly tribal healthcare activities associated with PHC Seethathode, and DMO Pathanamthita on 30/12/2022 . A medical camp was conducted for the tribal community of Gavi and Moozhiyar with the help of Dr. Vincent Xavier Seethathode PHC Medical Officer . The medical camp was organized by departments of Community Health and Mental Health Nursing. The program was coordinated by IQAC cell, PCON. The members participated Prof.Vineetha Jacob Principal PCON, Sr. .Mayukha SIC, and Mr. Renji George John. The camp was provided Health Checkup and Medications for 36 members. It also provided food materials like rice, vegetables, pulses , cereals and other kitchen utilites to 30 families.Vitamin supplements and Food were supplied to under five children of the tribal population. A quick visit and medical observation was also given to the Ceylon camp at Gavi.The camp was benefital and well appreciated by tribal families and members of Ceylon camp .
