FRESHERS DAY PROGRAM JWALA2K23
The freshers day program Jwala 2k23 of the 22 nd batch of B.Sc Nursing students of Pushpagiri College of Nursing was held on the 14 th of January , 2023 in the college auditorium to showcase the talents of our young budding tender buds who have stepped into the profession of nursing. The program was very vibrant, colourful and ethnic as all the programs had a taste of our Indian culture and Kerala Heritage. The programs included urumi dance, kerala kitchen dance, margamkalli, mappilapattu, oppana, musical drama and fusion , cinematic dance forms along with melodious kerala songs awakening the nostalgia of earlier times.The program also included a dance by the fresher gentle men of the group which was much appreciated by all. The program started at 1.30 pm and concluded by 4 pm. The other main highlight was the unveiling of the batch name for the freshers as is the customary, the honours were done by Rev Fr Aby Vadakkumthala, the director of pushpagiri college of nursing. The batch name chosen was Troizians meaning soul warriors. The program was attended by the faculty, staff and senior students of the college of nursing, pushpagiri.
