OLD AGE HOME VISIT
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed International Day for Older People Celebration as part of NSS Day Celebration on 01/10/2022 as old age home visit. The programme helped to create awareness among the volunteers regarding the importance of older people in the society. A total of 20 volunteers visited the Bethany Old age home to celebrate the international day of older person. A total of 20 residents were in the old age home. The volunteers performed various cultural activities such as dance, music and so on. There was a meet in the old age home, Rev.Fr. Michael welcomed the gathering, Rev.Fr. Prasad delivered special address to the audience and Mrs.Riti Annie Thomas, Asst.NSS Programme Officer gave felicitation to the gathering. The words of gratitude were delivered by Mrs. Asha Ashok, NSS Programme Officer. The residents performed cultural activities. The programme was really a great entertainment as well as commitment.
