STREET PLAY AND FLASH MOB BY NSS
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed Street Play and Flash Mob as part of NSS Day Celebration on 29/09/2022 at KSRTC Bus Terminal, Thiruvalla. This Programme helped to gain knowledge regarding first-aid of dog bite. It also helped to develop social commitment. A total of 30 volunteers participated in the event. This programme was conducted in collaboration with Thiruvalla Municipality, Community Health Nursing, Medical- Surgical Nursing, Foundations of Nursing Department. The chief Guest of the programme was Mrs.Santhamma Varghese, Thiruvalla Municipality Chairperson. Sr.Mayukha, Associate Professor welcomed the gathering, Prof.Vineetha Jacob, Principal presided over the ceremony. Mrs.Santhamma Varghese, Municipal Chairperson inaugurated the function. Mrs.Shibi Mariam Thomas felicitated the ceremony and Mrs.Asha Ashok, NSS Programme Officer delivered the words of gratitude to the gathering. The volunteers performed a street play to the public on the first-aid of dog bite. The volunteers did a flash mob to the public on the relevant topic. The programme created social commitment to the volunteers
