LAMPLIGHTING CEREMONY 2025
The Foundation of Nursing and Student Nurses Association, Pushpagiri College of Nursing collaboratively organized the Lamp lighting ceremony on 03/02/2025 at 09.00 am in the Pushpagiri Chapel. The programme started with a prayer song by 1st semester B.S.c Nursing Students and Bible Reading was done by Miss.Ann Mary Joseph (1st semester). Welcome speech delivered by Prof.Renjini Devi ,Vice principal (Academics) and followed by Presidential address Rev.Dr.Philip Payyampallil (CEO- Pushpagiri group of Institutions),Prayer and Blessings by Rev.Fr.Aby Vadakkumthala (Director,Institutions).Next, the lamp was lightened by the Dignitaries followed by the oath along with a dedication song by 1st semester B.Sc Nursing students. After that, Nurse’s pledge was given by Prof. Vineetha Jacob (Principal, College of nursing), Felicitation by Mrs.Suvarna.s.panicker (CNO,Pushpagiri Medical College). At the end vote of thanks delivered by Miss.Jilma Joseph (1st sem,B.Sc Nursing) . Total 120 participants participated in this event. The programme concluded by10 am and was appreciated by all.
