SKILLED BIRTH ATTENDANT (SBA) MODULE
The Department of Obstetrical & Gynaecological Nursing , Pushpagiri College of Nursing, Thiruvalla organized a module Workshop On SBAModule In Nursing on 19/12/24 from 02:00pm to 04.00pm. The resourse person of the workshop was Dr. Divya Louis, Assistant Professor , Puspagiri Medical College. The participants of the programme were 6th semester B.Sc Nursing 75 students of Pushpagiri College of Nursing, Thiruvalla participated in this programme. The workshop was organised on basis of practical session and lecture session.
The workshop discuss regarding the topics on normal labour, its practical sessions, how to handle a mother who is in labour during emergency sections.
There was OSCE been conducted . students have actively participated in OSCE.
Students were taught regarding the handling of emergency sections. The workshop focussed mainly on activity based training. Certificates were also given for the participants of the workshop. The workshop was reviewed as effective ,entertaining and informative by all and was well appreciated.
