POPULATION DAY
As a part of our community health nursing we group of 27 students of fourth year Bsc nursing, Pushpagiri College of nursing Thiruvalla celebrated the world population day on 11/07/2024 at Bethelpady Kuttapuzha. The theme is `Healthy timing and spacing in pregnancy for the wellbeing of mother and child’. The programme was organized by community health nursing department and NSS Unit of PCON with the help of Community Health Nursing HOD Prof. Mrs. Mathew Soney. The programme started at 10:30 am with a prayer song followed by welcome speech by Miss Jeena Mathew 4 th year Bsc nursing student. Th programme was inaugurated by Mrs. Sreekala, Health Inspector and Mr. Ratheesh JPHI Kuttapuzha. Students conducted a musical drama followed by health education regarding the adverse effects and methods ofprevention of population explosion at last vote of thanks was delivered by Miss Resly SusanReji. The programme was very successful and informative to the people.
