NSS FRESHERS ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2023
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed the nss Day by celebrating the day in an oath taking ceremony and by conducting a freshers orientation and inauguration program. The program commenced with the NSS anthem followed by welcome address by the NSS volunteer Ms Litty Rachel from 3rd year B.Sc nursing followed by the message of Vice Principal academics Prof. Mrs Renjini Devi and by a motivational NSS message, followed by the program officer and district convener Mrs. Riti Anne Thomas who briefed about the NSS activities in college and outreach activities conducted by the NSS unit. This meeting concluded by NSS pledge to the newly enrolled volunteers dictated by the NSS volunteer from 4 th year MS Christina Teresa. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Catharine Davis, NSS secretary. This day helped to create awareness among NSS volunteers and know the importance of NSS in helping and catering to the rising demands of the society and in the spheres where NSS works. It also helped to inculcate in them a spirit of brotherliness.
