The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed seven days residential camp from 13/02/2023 to 19/02/2023 at Thirumoolavilasam U.P School, Thirumoolapuram, Tiruvalla. The special camp titled as PUNARJANI-2K23. The theme of the camp was “ANTI-DRUG AWARENESS”. A new project is also launched in the camp called as “NSS EDUCATION AT RURAL AREAS”. The Volunteers released a MIME-PUNARJANI- a Peek to Drug Awareness.A total of 48 volunteers actively participated in the camp. The camp is blessed with the presence of various sessions over the areas of drug awareness, Personality development and discipline, skill development -paper bag making, Motivational class, Election Literacy Class ,Cyber security and laws. The volunteers engaged in various activities, games,camp fire, open discussions, debate, health assessments as well as health awareness programmes for school children. The volunteers also visited Bethany Jeevan Jyothy Old age home. The special camp was really informative and social awareness to the volunteers.
