ANTI DRUG RALLY
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed anti-drug rally as part of International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on 06/10/2022 at Tiruvalla. The Programme was conducted in collaboration with Community Health Nursing Department, Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing Department, Thiruvalla Social Service Society, Joy Allukkas Foundation and St.Thomas School, Eruvellipara. This programme aimed to develop awareness on public as well as volunteers regarding the adverse effects of using drugs. The NSS volunteers actively conducted a rally in relation to the antidrug campaign. There were 50 volunteers participated in the rally. The school students also took part in Anti-drug rally. The school students also took part in Anti-drug rally. The volunteers were actively participated in the rally from Eruvellipara to Thirumoolam Junction. The programme was inaugurated by Rev.Gee Varghese Mar Matropolita, (Niranam Diocese). The programme conducted in the presence of Smt.Preseena(Thiruvalla DEO), Mrs.Mini Kumari(Thiuvalla AEO), Rev.Fr.Samuel Vilayil(Director-Bodhana), Mr.Laiju M Scakriah(Thiruvalla Municap Counsellor), Mr.Shiju(Joy Allukkas Foundation Manager). The volunteers displayed charts, slogans and captions during the rally. The Volunteers performed street play for public awareness during the rally.
