FLOOD RELIEF ACTIVITY
The NSS Unit, QAS Cell, Community health nursing department of Pushagiri College of nursing actively participated in disaster management (flood relief activity) with collaboration of Bhodhana, a social service society on 10/08/2022 at chathenkary, thiruvalla. The Programme aimed to develop social service and humanity among students, as social service is the duty and responsibility to take care of nature in the better version for the coming generations. Bodhana,Thiruvalla happily donated grant for preparation of food kit . Fourth Year BSc Nursing student’s voluntary participated in making 50 food kits under the supervision of Fr.Samuel, Bodhana for the distribution in the flood affected area. The food kit consists of different Grocery items, Household items, mask and sanitizer. On 10/08/2022, 9 students of 4th year BS.c Nursing, Sr. .Mayukha community health nursing department ,Ms Asha Ashok NSS unit and Ms .Juna Anna Joshua QAS Disaster Management, Fr.Shibin , Mr.Reji and Mr.Bobin, Members of Bodhana participated in the distribution of food kits in flood affected areas of Chathenkary. This programme helped to encourage students to develop helping mentality and empathy towards the needy society.
