INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY CELEBRATION
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed the International Nurses day on 12/05/2022 at Pushpagiri college of Nursing, Thiruvalla. The programme was conducted in collaboration with SNA unit. There were around 225 volunteers participated in the programme. The programme helped to make aware about the role of nurse in the society. This programme also created the feel of importance of nursing profession in health care sector. The programme was commenced by Ms. Ann Maria, NSS Volunteer and Ms.Andrea, NSS Volunteer welcomed the gathering. Sr.Mary Jyothi OSS, Vice Principal Administration unfolded the Theme of Nurses Day-22 and had given a vivid picture about the same. Prof.Renjini Devi,Vice Principal Academics had given message on Nurses day. Bhima Jewellery, Thiruvalla had given a token of love on the same occasion. Ms.Dhiya ,NSS Volunteer had given a note on relevance of celebrating Nurses day in current scenario. The volunteers performed a Flash mob. Ms.Sinora Jijo, NSS Volunteer had given vote of thanks. The programme created enthusiasm among volunteers.
