WORLD HEALTH DAY CELEBRATIONS
As a part of world health day celebrations, department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and NSS organized a health awareness program at Maternity OPD of Pushpagiri Medical College Hospital. The program was conducted on 07/04/2022 at 10.00 am. Dr. Sreedevi HOD, Dept of OBG addressed the gathering. In her speech she stressed the importance of protection from anemia among mothers and various methods of protection and treatment. Fourth year BSc Nursing students conducted an awareness program regarding prevention of various aspects of anemia among mothers in the form of a street play. In association with the program there was a flash mob which made the program more attractive. The program ended at 11.30 am with vote of thanks by 4th year BSc Nursing students.
