STREET PLAY BY NSS ON DISABILITY DAY
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed street play in relation to International Disability Day on 08th December 2021. The programme helped to create awareness among the public regarding the importance of upgrading the people with disability. This programme also make awareness among the volunteers regarding the importance of removing stigma of people with disability from the society. The Programme was conducted along with Community and Mental Health Department. A total of 30 Volunteers participated in the Street Play. The venue of the Programme was KSRTC Bus Terminal. The street play was based on the inspiring story of a person with Disability. The programme is very inspiring for the volunteers.
