Career Guidance Program with the assistance of NORKA roots
A one-day training program on career orientation for safe placement abroad was organized by the career guidance and placement cell of Pushpagiri College of nursing and the Department of Non-keralite residents of the Government of Kerala(NORKA roots) through it’s Nodal agency, the Centre for Management development (CMD), on 26th November 2021 from 10am to 4pm. The sessions began with a silent prayer. Sr. Mary Jyothi, Vice Principal (administration) welcomed the guest faculty Mrs. Sonia and Mr. Muhammad Kakkad, and the project staff, Ms. Aswathy and Mr. Aromal. The morning session on requisites for placement in European countries was dealt by Ms. Sonia and the afternoon session on safe placement in gulf countries was dealt by Mr. Muhammad Kakkad. The final year (BSc 2017 batch) students and eight interested faculty members benefitted from the sessions and expressed their gratitude to the Pushpagiri management, Principal- Rev. Sr. Terese SIC, to the centre for management development and NORKA roots.
