NSS REPORT ON YOGA BREAK
The National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing observed YOGA BREAK as part of Poshan Maah. The programme helped to make aware about the importance of Yoga. It also aimed to make practice of yoga in academic session and work place during stress. The chief guest were Rev. Fr.Aby Vadakumthala, Academics director, Pushpagiri College of Nursing and Ms.Asha Ashok, NSS Programme Officer. The programme was conducted via Zoom Platform. There were around 70 members including volunteers, teaching and non-teaching faculties. The programme started with NSS song by volunteers. Ms.Aksa, NSS volunteers welcomed the gathering, Ms.Aiswarya explained the importance of conducting Yoga Break. Rev. Fr Aby Vadakumthala gave key message to the volunteers. Ms.Ganga Biju, NSS volunteer had demonstrated different yoga poses and explained the importance of each pose to the volunteers. Ms. Neethu, volunteer had given the words of gratitude to the volunteers. The programme is a great enthusiasm for the students.
