NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY (NDD)
Every year February 10 and August 10 are observed as the NATIONAL DEWORMING DAY (NDD). The day aims at eradicating intestinal worms also referred to as Soil-Transmitted Helminths (STH), among children within the age bracket of 1-19 years.We ,Pushpagiri college of nursing 2nd year students under Community Health Nursing Department created a Deworming day awareness through a video on February 10,2021.The video focussed on giving an awareness regarding deworming,it’s symptoms,diagnosis, prevention and its management. We are thankful to our Community Health Nursing Department Assistant professors Sr.Mayukha and Mrs.Soney Mathew for their guidance and support.Last but not the least we thank God almighty for helping us to make this video a success.
