REPORT OF WORLD CANCER DAY
The Department of Community Health Nursing of Pushpagiri College of Nursing celebrated World Cancer Day on 04 February 2021. The 4th year B.Sc. Nursing students (2016 -2020 ) designed a digital poster and an informative pamphlet based on the theme “I am and I will” .The pamphlet highlighted the incidence and prevalence, prevention as well as the government initiatives for cancer patients.The pamphlet was circulated on Social Medias commemorating the awareness about the disease. In the present scenario, apart from giving a health talk, this was a great opportunity for the students to create an awareness by designing a digital poster and a pamphlet which included vital information about Cancer.
