WORLD ANTI TOBACCO DAY ON MAY 31st, 2018
We the Pushpagiri College of Nursing Community Health Nursing Department in collaboration with Pathanamthitta District, District Medical Office, Schools, Colleges celebrated the World No Tobacco Day on May 31st based on the theme “ Tobacco and Heart disease”. This year it is focused on the important link between tobacco and heart disease, and to create awareness among the public to reduce the risks to heart health posed by tobacco.
The Second year B.Sc Nursing students participated in the rally, Skit and Quiz competitions along with faculty members Sr Mayukha SIC and Ms Anitha Eapen. The students bagged first prize in rally competition and won the cash prize of Rs.2000/- from Ms.Veena George M
LA. The students also presented a Skit “Pukachurul” which was well appreciated by the public.
