PRE MONSOON CLEANING ACTIVITIES AND SWACHH BHARAT MISSION ON MAY 27th 2018
We the National Service Scheme unit (NSS/FU/PNT/KUHS/2) of Pushpagiri College of Nursing conducted a pre-monsoon cleaning activity on May 27th as part of the Haritha Kerala Mission and Swachh Bharat. It was mainly focused on the reduction of the incidence and spread of the diseases which are widespread mostly during the monsoon season. The NSS volunteers actively participated in the Swachh Bharat mission by cleaning the areas in and around Pushpagiri Hospital and the Private stand, Thiruvalla.
The programme was also to remind the public about the importance and need to practice Haritha Kerala and Swachh Bharat Mission to prevent the occurrence of diseases. The active participation of the NSS volunteers could create interest in the young minds and the public to support the mission. The programme was successful as it could attain its aim in cleaning the areas and thereby state the importance of cleaning and prevention of pre-monsoon diseases.
